John Ross MacKimmie is an artist/illustrator who has lived and worked in the Pioneer Valley of western Massachusetts for the past twelve years. He enjoys painting a variety of subject matter ranging from traditional land/seascapes to whimsical fantasy and visionary art. His interest in antiquity, mythology and folklore is reflected in his recent fantasy works.
