Louise's works have been translated into 25 different languages in 33 countries throughout the world. Dear Louise, I am writing to you today because I'd like to ask you about suicide. My twin brother committed suicide five years ago, and I would like to know if he is in heaven. I do pray for him, but I'd like to know if he's an angel and if I can ask for his help. I read somewhere that when someone commits suicide, he stays tied to the physical earth and lives in limbo. I have a hard time believing that because it seems like wasted time. What I do believe is that he must be in the black tunnel where you feel God's love, tranquility, and peace (to heal the wounds before you can accept God's love), or else he must be in heaven. Sometimes I get confused with all that stuff and that's why I decided to write to you. Thank you, and I hope to hear from you soon. -- C.Y. Montreal, CANADA Dear C.Y., I am sorry about the loss of your twin brother. Suicide is always harder on those who are still here. I believe that heaven is a state of mind and not a place somewhere out there. All of us are capable of creating heaven or hell right here on earth with our own thoughts. Rest assured that now that your brother is gone, whatever was troubling him is over. He is in a place where he sees clearly and also loves you very much. I would suggest that you talk to him every day. Tell him how you feel. Ask him for help. Forgive him for leaving too soon. In the time of eternity, you will both be back together in the twinkling of an eye. Choose to believe thoughts that give you comfort and peace. Your brother wants you to be happy. ***** Dear Louise, I have been struggling with a hamstring or sciatic nerve injury for many months, and it's getting beyond a joke. As I have recently immigrated, my books are all packed up and in storage, so I don't have references to consult. Can you please tell me the probable cause and the affirmation (I've started asking my inner child, but to date, haven't worked out the reason for the problem). I just have to get over this. Can you help? I will really appreciate it if you could give me advice on this. Thank you so much. -- H.L., Santa Fe, NM Dear H.L., You can always go to the local library and look up anything you want in my books. It doesn't have to cost money to learn about the laws of Life. The knowledge is free; we just have to be willing to use it. The back represents our support system. Any problems with the back usually means we feel we are not being supported. The upper back has to do with feeling a lack of emotional support. "My husband/wife/lover/friend/boss doesn't understand me or support me." The middle back has to do with guiltall that stuff that is in back of us. Are we afraid to see what is back there, or are we hiding from the past? Do we feel stabbed in the back? The lower back, and most particularly, the sciatic nerve, has to do with money. Are your finances in a mess, or do you worry about them excessively? The lack of money or the fear of the lack of money will do it. The amount you have or don't have has nothing to do with it. Trust that Life, which brought you this far, will take you the rest of the way. America is a country where you can go as far as you choose. Keep knowing that you are safe. Affirm: I AM DIVINELY PROTECTED AND PROVIDED FOR. I AM SAFE AND SECURE. ***** Dear Louise, In your book You Can Heal Your Life, the reason for sinus problems is stated as an irritation to someone close. My question is: Is this you being irritated by someone or you irritating someone else? -- D.H., Duluth, MN Dear D.H., Sinus problems usually mean that we are feeling oppressed or irritated by someone who is quite close to us. It could be a family member or co-workers or just someone we know that seems to be taking over our life. Many years ago I spent a ten-day trip in a small car with three other people. One of them was quite bossy and had to be in control. For the entire ten days, I had the most awful sinus attack. I did not understand the reason for that attack until many years later. I had just given my power away. Know this for yourself: I AM THE CENTER OF PEACE; AND NO PERSON, PLACE, OR THING HAS ANY POWER OVER ME. I AM SAFE.
