LUCID DREAMS, VISION DREAMS, POWERS OF THE MIND

We, who are seeking spiritual knowledge, we who are elevating our personalities toward the Common Good, we who are opening our minds to a new model, a view of the higher things of Mind -- we are graced with visions. Visions of the higher powers of the mind are being revealed to us. We are crossing the border, entering the Invisible Realms in which our dreams, creative imaginations, and receptive inspirations become a reality.

All of this is shown, demonstrated, in the work of two pioneers, scientific pioneers, who are on the scene.

Elmer Green, founder of biofeedback, has given us the fruit of 60 years of labor in his book The Ozawkie Book of the Dead. Here he shares his life and his vision dreams, which are receptions from on High, from his High Self. These receptions come into a mind that is highly oriented scientifically. Elmer is a physiologist, a psychologist and an engineer. In his book he gives a view of the Entities on the other side as they look upon us and work upon us here, on this plane.

When we open to the High Self in meditation or in lucid dreaming (where we are essentially awake while still in the dream) we see these visions as both a reality and a guiding principle. They are receptions from our Guardian Angels, our Teachers, Higher Entities that await to assist us. Then, if we let our dreams be remembered, record them in serial review, we learn what dross we must drop from our personalities, what anchors and obstructions we carry, what refinements are necessary. We can get a view of where we are going. We can watch our progress.

It is interesting to see how this coordinates with the work of Professor William Tiller (see his newly published book Conscious Acts of Creation: The Emergence of a New Physics). With impeccable work in experimental physics, Professor Tiller demonstrates the powers of the mind in focused attention. His data prove that our thoughts and intentions actually change the environment. They produce significant effects on the electro-magnetic energies in the environment in which we live. If we focus, we can produce change that is powerful enough to change the pH of water (pH is a measure of acidity-alkalinity). We can insert memory in water so that this change in pH lasts over a period of time as long as a year.

Work such as this heralds a new day in scientific investigation. In the future, the strength of the ubiquitous energy of Mind will have to be recognized and taken into account in all research.

If we connect the lessons we learn from the work of Elmer Green and William Tiller -- Elmer Green's vision dreams with the demonstrated power of visualization to change the body and Tiller's proof of the power of focused attention -- we see that not only do we create in dreams (and that is easy to see) but we have the power to materialize, that is to actually create physical objects in the world in which we live. Thus, the power of an advanced soul such as Sai Baba in India (who can manifest dust from nowhere, even rings and jewelry) are not so far away from us. There are laws of nature into which we can now begin to see, and into which we can enter and use, as further recognition of Mind-power.

With focused concentration we can move objects (as is being shown by Professor Robert Jahn at Princeton); we can change the pH of water (certainly the main constituent of our bodies); we can heal and produce significant transformation in bodies; we can achieve super-athletic performance. We are limited only by our beliefs in our limitations. All of this as we view the Invisible Realm of the Higher Mind coming from the Higher Self, and its reception from yet higher Souls and Entities.

Psychiatrist Dr. Raymond Moody, in his classic book Life After Life, has pioneered in showing us that consciousness continues after death. His new work, under way, is truly remarkable. His subjects sit in a dimly lit room, focusing relaxed concentration on a mirror slightly above them (so they won't see their reflection). Eighty percent of the time, they are able to perceive those on the other side. Remarkably, some of the experimenters have witnessed those from the other side, the dear departed, actually step forward from the mirror! (This was a personal communication).

All of this startling news allows us to see that we, as a civilization, are on the path. We no longer cling unthinkingly to the tenets of traditional science, but are able to observe through the larger eye of the Higher Mind, and to appreciate our own powers of creation.

And so -- we are indeed the Children of God, if only we allow ourselves to be. We are Divine Creators, if we allow ourselves to seek the Higher Mind and become one with the Higher Portions called our Higher Selves.
