Just in case you're still not sure consciousness is changing, here's yet more food for thought.
The Psychic Children and You: Emissaries of Love

Last month, I wrote about the new scholarship in science that is concentrating on the positive effects of unlimited love and other regarding virtues like empathy and understanding, generosity and kindness, compassion and care, altruism and self-sacrifice, celebration and joy, and forgiveness and justice. It can be called new scholarship because traditional research has focused on the negative effects of things like fear, anger, abuse, etc.

Of course, when you read your daily newspaper or tune in to CNN or MSNBC these days, you are inundated with constant unloving streams of news about hate and fear. The world is in turmoil and media messages of love and hope are few and far between.

Don't despair. There are some definite messages of love out there and here is one of them. You may have heard about the psychic children. For example, the archives at Drunvalo Melchizedek's site, www.spiritofmaat.com, has a number of articles about these super psychics. According to Melchizedek, the super psychic children are an unusual and charismatic race with extraordinary abilities like seeing with their ears, hands, or feet, reading other people's minds, and manipulating physical reality. For example, Paul Dong, author of China's Super Psychics, reported observing the following demonstration several times:

As each of a large audience of a thousand people or more would enter the auditorium, be handed them a live rosebud. When everyone was seated and quiet, the demonstration would begin with a young Chinese girl, about six years old, who would come onstage all by herself and stand in the center, facing the audience. Then with a silent wave of her hand, the thousand rosebuds slowly opened into full-blown, beautiful roses before the eyes of the astonished audience.

Malchizedek states, "If these children don't change our world, nothing will." But how? Having psychic powers do not automatically indicate that a person is on a spiritual path. In fact, if you read the book, China's Super Psychics, you find that many of the young people being studied and cultivated by the Chinese government have a tendency to use their powers to extract favors from others or play mean, practical jokes.

Now there is, perhaps, an answer to that question. In the summer of 2001, James Twyman, author and peace troubadour, traveled into the mountains of Bulgaria to find the monastery where a group of young psychic children were being trained. According to Twyman, these children are essentially hiding there now, protected by the monks and learning to use their gift with compassion. Twyman writes about his experiences with these children in a new book, Emissary of Love--The Psychic Children Speak to the World.

But this is about much more than a book or a few children in the mountains of Bulgaria. The children, states Twyman, call themselves "Children of Oz" and live in different parts of the world. Although they have no traditional physical means of communicating with each other, they are linked together by an invisible force. That force forms a grid, which now surrounds the world. And that force, according to Twyman and the children, is an energy grid of pure and unlimited love.

Twyman has become a spokesperson and activist for the children—especially one named Thomas--and their messages. Beginning in early February, 2002, Twyman began offering these messages via his Internet mailing list at www.topica.com/lists/ThomasMessages. Within two weeks, 19,000 people had asked to receive the Thomas messages. And what are those messages? The essence of the messages can be summed up in one word: LOVE. The children state that they are here to help the rest of us realize that we can transform the world through love. They are emissaries of love. The messages invite us to be emissaries of love, too. You can find out more about these messages by going to www.emissaryoflove.com. One section you might want to check out is the Emissary of Love Study Group (www.emissaryoflove.com/study.htm). This is a four month Internet program designed to awaken the power of love within you and to help you remember the truth about the love that is always there within yourself. The course also promises to teach you how to demonstrate some of the powers the children themselves exhibit.

One interesting aspect of the Emissary of Love movement is the emails that Twyman has been receiving from psychic and Indigo children and their parents. Hundreds of these emails have been pouring in from around the world and some of them have been published on the Topica.com list. Here is one example:

One mother was tucking her six year old son, Jason, into bed on March 31, 2001, when he told her that he was "hearing them" again and suggested that she take paper and write some things down. Here is what her son told her:

• God's love is everywhere --there's nowhere where God's love is not.
There isn't even a tiny sliver the size of my hand in all the universes where God's love is not.
Holy love is the only true love.
There is no love the same or better for you than your own love.
Your mind is always working with love at its center.
You are always protected by God's love.
Your joy is growing bigger every second.
You can never hurt God because God is love and love is unhurtable.

With that, little Jason said he was done and wanted to go to sleep.

And remember, I also want to hear your story about how the Internet and the World Wide Web have impacted your journey toward self-realization. A short e-mail questionnaire is available by contacting Monty764@aol.com. Just fill it out and e-mail it back. Your contribution will help me complete my Spirituality & the Internet Research Project and, in turn. Will help others who are undertaking a similar pilgrimage.
