Green All That You Can Green, Et Cetera

Nothing ever happens to us in life but happens for us to learn some lesson,
so that we’re better prepared to face that same situation tomorrow.

Dr. M. Ted Morter, Jr., is the founder of multiple health care clinics, and has been an alternative health care practitioner for more than 35 years, helping thousands of people regain their health.

The Monthly Aspectarian: How did your work evolve?

Dr. Ted Morter: I was a teacher with a Masters Degree from Ohio State University. Then I went into Chiropractic. I was a traditional Chiropractor, moving bones, and I helped a lot of people but I found there was a certain group of people that did not respond. I wanted to know why, and that initiated forty years of research. What I have concluded is that people are the way they are today because of six areas of life. Those are what you eat and drink, how you exercise, rest and breathe, and what you think—that’s the biggest one. What I find is that what we think consciously, how we respond to the stresses of life consciously has an enormous effect on our subconscious mind, and our subconscious mind is what runs our body. What I have developed is a technique called Bio Energetic Synchronization Technique, which enables access to a patient’s subconscious mind by having the patient think of certain thoughts and then seeing how their body responds to those thoughts.

TMA: Almost like mental muscle testing.

TM: That is correct. I can have somebody think about what is on their mind, what’s really bothering them, and their body will freeze up. If it’s already frozen it will go weak. So what we look for are any thoughts that cause the body to change its physiology. Most people believe they are a physical entity undergoing a spiritual experience. What I have learned is that we are a spiritual entity undergoing a physical experience.

TMA: People think it’s some kind of miracle we can go from here to there, but really we’re from there and we’ve come here.

TM: That’s exactly right. We are spiritual, and our subconscious runs our life, whether we know it or not. But inappropriate use of our conscious mind has created negativity in our subconscious mind, and the big thing that I’ve learned, that’s unique, is that this negativity accumulates in our subconscious mind.

The first time you have a negative feeling of worry, hate, fear, guilt, or judgment, it doesn’t affect you, but it’s stored there in the subconscious. Then another day and another day go by, and another week and another year, with more and more of these negative feelings accumulating. Then, one day you get out of bed and you want to bend over and tie your shoes, or brush your teeth, and you hit the floor. The negativity accumulates, and it produces in our subconscious mind feelings that are like an automatic tape that starts playing.

Science tells us that all emotions produce chemicals. The emotions of love and gratitude and thankfulness produce chemicals that do not interfere with the positive power that built us. On the other hand, negativity, hate, fear, guilt, worry, anxiety, frustration, all of these emotions produce chemicals that our body responds to, ultimately leading to exhaustion of some system. Then it becomes symptomatic and we go to the doctor, who puts an “itis” or “osis” or other suffix on the area that’s involved and attacks it directly.

TMA: Which creates more negativity.

TM: More negativity. I’m interested in how they got the condition they have. You have to understand, all medicine has side effects. Allopathic medicine is really not concerned with how you got what you have. They only intervene and tell you this is what you have and this is what we can do to make you feel better. I say, why not find out the cause of this condition? Until you address the cause of this condition, you’re just treating the effects, and you can never work on enough effects to correct the cause.

TMA: Especially when you take allopathic drugs and they create more conditions.

TM: Exactly. They all have side effects. You have to weigh whether the side effects of a drug are worse than what you’re taking it for.

TMA: I personally know a man who took a drug to lower his cholesterol and it attacked his muscles, which I’m told is not uncommon with this medication.

TM: There are other ways to correct the cholesterol. The body makes 60% of the cholesterol that it has in it. That’s a whole farce anyway. It’s a scam. A lot of people that have heart attacks have normal cholesterol. There are other factors involved. Most people just need to clean up their act. Remember, it’s what you eat and drink, exercise, rest, breathe and think. Thinking is most important because that’s what accumulates. Nothing ever happens to us in life that isn’t for us to learn some lesson, so that we’re better prepared to face that same situation tomorrow. But we don’t do that. What we do is judge the result, and then we keep on doing the same thing, praying for a different outcome which, of course, never happens.

I had a patient who was drinking 64 cups of coffee a day and praying for a good night’s sleep. Well, if you’re drinking 64 cups of coffee a day and do get a good night’s sleep, you’re going to wake up dead. The body has to get rid of that toxicity.

TMA: You don’t mean literally 64 cups.

TM: I mean 64 cups, eight pots of coffee a day. He told me, “I drink a pot of coffee before I get out of bed.” I said, “That’s not possible, you have to go to the bathroom.” “It was a problem until I learned how to do it. If you drink eight cups of coffee rapidly, it never has a chance to get to the kidneys, it’s still in the stomach.” I put him on two pots of coffee a day to start, and then one pot of coffee, and you’d think I killed him. He said life wasn’t worth living.

TMA: But he came out on the other end of it.

TM: Oh yeah. Finally, after about one pot of coffee a day, about eight cups, he said, “Hey, I’m able to sleep a little.” So our job in this program is to teach people to see what they do, and not blame God for punishing them for sins they’ve done in the past. It’s what they have done.

Our latest research is indicating that we also inherit energetics from our ancestors who created the genetics that create tendencies that attract experiences to us. These experiences are negative if they’re coming from the past. I believe that that’s the reason Jesus came here, to teach us how to use our conscious mind, and not to interfere with the perfection of the subconscious mind which is of God. I believe that God is in each and every one of us in our subconscious. We can use our conscious mind, and we do use our conscious mind, to totally interfere with the perfection of creation that’s in all of our subconscious minds.

TMA: You have a new book called The Soul Purpose. Is this what you’re talking about now?

TM: Right. My personal opinion is that our soul and spirit are two different issues. Our spirit is perfect. That’s God, and nothing man is ever going to do is going to alter what God’s going to do. But when we get to be about two years old, and even before that, we’re just filling our subconscious with negativity. Don’t do that, don’t touch that, don’t play here, and we get lots and lots of don’ts. That’s always going to interfere with the perfection of creation. About that time, we start creating our soul, and that deviates from our spirit purity. My belief is that the Soul Purpose is for us to learn how to come into this physical body, live a life of non-judgment and learn the lesson of the moment so that we don’t add to our interference. Look at the 23rd Psalm. It says, “He leads me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul.” If you’re going to restore your soul, you have to restore it to something it was before. To me, that was spirit purity. The soul purpose of this life is to recognize we’re off purpose, and start thinking and doing and loving and giving and caring so that we move our soul back to spirit purity, and then we are living in heaven on earth at this time.

TMA: The 23rd Psalm is one of the things that I use frequently for refocusing. It seems to me that Jesus taught less about how to get to heaven and more about how to live on earth.

TM: Absolutely. He talked about forgiveness and love. It’s all about how to use the mind so it doesn’t interfere with the subconscious perfection. That’s the original sin, in my opinion. Man believing that he had a better idea for his life than that which he knew intuitively. So he used his conscious mind to satisfy the five senses, and everybody does it every day of their life.

TMA: Then, of course, we get the wrong messages, so we try to satisfy them the wrong way.

TM: That’s correct. What we try to do in our workshop is to help people realize what they did to create their conditions. How did they create the interference with the perfection of creation that’s in their subconscious mind? We have doctors there that identify in the subconscious mind the interference, where it is. Then the patients learn how to face the stresses of life today differently than yesterday, so their tomorrow has less interference in it than today did. That’s the main purpose of this workshop.

TMA: What are some of the ways that you teach people to handle stresses differently?

TM: I help them realize that nothing happens to them, they’re not being punished. They need to learn that this problem is there for them to learn some lesson, because they attracted this experience from the subconscious mind. If they don’t learn from it, they’re going to have to go through it again. It’s like if you get a divorce, you’re going to get another divorce, and then another divorce, until you realize that the other person is not the problem. You’re expecting the other person to solve your subconscious creation, energetically, and that will never happen.

TMA: So we want to look at what we normally identify as problems as opportunities.

TM: We also teach people the kinds of foods they should eat. We are alkaline by design and acid by function. That’s a trademark phrase of mine. Every cell of our body is alkaline in order to produce whatever it does. But when it functions to do what its supposed to do, it makes acid that we have to get rid of.

TMA: How to get rid of the acid ... by drinking more water?

TM: By drinking more water and eating more fruits and vegetables to enable our body to carry the maximum amount of oxygen. Then we do not make the free radical, oxyradical, which is the number one destructive radical in the body. When we have maximum oxygen, that won’t happen, that only occurs when the blood’s pH is 7.4.

Again, what is most important is to understand that we are who we are today because of what we thought and felt about our experiences yesterday. What we have to do is use our minds in such a way that, first, we don’t create more interference, and second, we start to neutralize the interference that we have created in the past that was mainly negative thinking. We need to see the good in what we see and learn the lesson of the moment.

You never have to forgive anybody for anything until after you have judged them first. So when we stop judging, we’re automatically more positive. I have learned that the subconscious attracts experiences to us. The more love we give, the more good we do, the more good we will attract to us that enables us to do even more. The reverse is also true. The more we hate, judge and see the negativity, the more we will attract like experiences to us that make that negativity a reality.

TMA: You can call it karma or not, it still amounts to the same thing.

TM: That’s exactly right.
