Much of my recent work is about stripping away mythologies and stories so people can see for themselves what is actually happening—instead of what mommy and daddy told them is going on. I want to help you learn to perceive cash flow clearly, then to act based on that clear perception, not on the tired old stories you inherited about money. It is the equivalent of driving down the road with your hands on the steering wheel, following the road, versus looking at a map and trying to drive with your hands on the rearview mirror. Concerning money, most of us have our hands on the steering wheel with one foot accelerating and the other foot braking while staring at the map wondering why we're not getting what we want. Meanwhile, some of us don't even have our hands on the steering wheel. We’ve turned the steering over to the drunken monkey while we steer with the rearview mirror, worrying about our decisions of the past.
In the old paradigm, people thought the world started with a big bang and was slowly working its way back into contraction. The universe seemed finite, and ultimately would collapse in on itself. What we know now is that the universe is expanding infinitely at ever increasing speeds. If you want to put yourself in harmony with the flow, and in harmony with the action of the universe, realize that the natural movement of the universe is expansion, and who you were yesterday is insignificant. What your problems were yesterday are insignificant. What your problems were a week ago, a year ago, ten years ago, twenty years ago are irrelevant. Drop the map and take your hands off the rearview mirror. Let go of the past. Focus on what is happening right now.
Trillions of dollars are being exchanged. I want you to feel into that exchange, the flow of that cash. I want you to take a funnel, or whatever it is for you, and tap into that cash flow as if you were diverting a flow of water from Niagara Falls. You wouldn't need to divert that much to get massive amounts of water flowing your way. The same is true here—just a little tap, a little diverter into that infinite flow, infinite expansion of cash, and you can fill up your tank. If the container gets full, then expand the container. Put yourself in harmony with an ever expanding universe and keep expanding. Expand your ability to take in more and more cash, more energy, more joy, more fun, more pleasure, more health, and more contentment.
Take something that has been messing you up about money—a thought, a fear, a problem, a limitation, a mythology, or some old idea—throw that into the cash flow and watch it disintegrate. Step into the cash flow. Take your whole being into the flow for a moment. Let the cash pound you, move through you, change you, shift you, and shake off anything that doesn't serve the flow and movement of cash into your reality. You are the cash flow.
You literally can have anything and do absolutely anything you want in your life. Just breathe that into your body. Give yourself two minutes right now to be the cash flow—a million dollars, no problem, what else? Infinite expansion, literally to do anything you want. Want to go up in the space shuttle? Buy your ticket and see Earth from outer space. Feel that possibility. The cash flow instantly fills it. Have a big fat mortgage on your house? Handle it—pay it off.
Money is flying around the world at the speed of light. That's 186,000 miles per second, and that's the speed of cash. Feel the infinite supply of cash in your body and make more space. When everything is filled up, you begin to feel peace and joy, inside and out.
Notice that the more money you have, the more creative you can be—infinite creativity, resource, and flow. We have a duty to contribute to this life as fully and completely as possible. In the world that we currently live in, we need cash to live in our freedom and create. Give yourself permission to be free. Cash is a metaphor for infinite creative flow.
Where you get confused is that you don't need cash to have happiness, you can have happiness right now—without cash. You can have peace right now, too. In the physical dimension, you don't use cash to buy energetic things, because energetic things are infinite and you can have them right now in energetic reality. What you need cash for is to create in three-dimensional reality—infinitely. If you want to participate in the expansion of the physical universe, you need cash. If you want to participate in the flow of expansive creativity that the physical universe is expanding in, you need cash. Cash is a beautiful thing that can bring joy and happiness, but it is not an energetic resource—that is where you get confused. You think external reality will impact, or have an affect on the internal, energetic reality—that is the mistake.
The drunken monkey knows that money will solve all problems—including internal pain, suffering, and emptiness—not true. Money is great for physical things that make you feel good, and expand three-dimensional creativity, but cash will not affect energetic reality. You can have anything you want energetically right now regardless of your cash supply. Right this very minute you are free, with or without cash. But as my Grandpa Mike used to say, rich or poor, it’s good to have money. Cash is fun, too. Begin focusing on that reality, and continue to ruthlessly expand your cash container in physical three-dimensional reality.
