Soul’s Journey: Discovering Power
by Jacqueline Lichtenberg

Guy Spiro: Meg, I usually like to start by asking for a thumbnail of your journey to becoming who you are.

Meg Blackburn: For the first part of my life, I denied my gift. People laughed at me or said, “That can’t be real,” so I didn’t talk about it. I just went about my way and created one illusion for myself after another until a time came when everything that I had thought was my foundation, my life, my career, everything just fell apart. I was feeling really raw and wondering what the heck had happened. So I thought, well, I am going to just sit here until I get it. What happened was, I started to look at every one of the situations, not from the perspective of who did what, but what was my part and what was I really doing. What I realized ultimately was that I was not living my truth. I was living the way I thought everyone else expected me to. I looked up to no one in particular and said, “However I am, whoever this is, whatever this looks like, I accept.” And boy, I have to tell you Guy, life has been magic ever since. I do what I do, I am who I am and that takes a lot of stress off.

GS: Yes, it would. So what were your larger influences?

MB: Part of it is just my intuition and things I’ve learned on my own journey. I try to look at life as one big lesson and share what I’ve learned with other people. Another part is a group consciousness that some lovingly call the Masters. They showed up when I was going through that stepping out of the illusion thing and started to awaken. I call it receiving a cosmic 2 by 4. [laughing]

I was begging: Somebody show me. Somebody show me because I had all this energy that I didn’t know what to do with. Somebody show me what to do, how can I be of service, and one morning, one of them showed up. I had been moving with energy and learning how to change how it felt to me and around me and all of a sudden, he started moving and showing me how to manipulate the energy and how to change its form and color and shape, and it was phenomenal.

There were a whole series of them that showed me how consciousness works, how the universe is put together, how sacred geometry applies and a gazillion other things that I can’t even think of off the top of my head. It turns out that what they have taught me over the years is being scientifically validated, though some of it isn’t measurable yet. They taught me how to read the energy inside people and around them and to see if they are sick and something needs to be changed energetically. They taught me how to do that and I started doing healing work. I’m seeing some absolute miracles happen with just moving energy. They talk in my head, but I do have a life and a mind of my own and so between us all, we come up with what the world has begun to see of my work. So, that is kind of a nutshell version.

GS: It’s interesting the way some things are not measurable by science yet, but more and more is understood all the time. I like that line about how when the physicist finally climbs to the top of the mountain, he finds a yogi sitting there.

MB: [laughing] Yes, that is wonderful. I recently talked with Lynne McTaggart, who wrote The Field. Her new book is The Intention Experiment and she was telling me that they are actually able to measure our light fields now. I think it is in Switzerland that a research company has developed a way to do that. I am thrilled! But it is inevitable that everything that the mystics have been saying for so long will be proved by science. It’s all true. It is all true.

Another thing very exciting for me, when I really got into this journey, I was having some experiences where I was seeing all these shapes and geometric forms and realized that when I project my consciousness into those forms, I was getting these amazing teachings. Not just an idea or a sentence, but the full concept all the way to the details. And I thought, this is so cool, you can get cosmic downloads and learn so quickly. Then I was reading the Nag Hammadi Gospels. There is one called the Gospel of Truth and it has a paragraph that talks about the living symbols and what they are like and what they are for. Reading something two thousand years old that was exactly what I was experiencing was a humbling moment. The ancients were doing that. I wasn’t that special, it was just that I was listening and paying attention.

GS: Ideas are alive. I know what you mean about downloads coming in chunks. That is how it works for me. All at once. Not in a linear fashion, although sometimes in words as well. It’s very interesting when you get the personality out of the way and higher truths roll through.

MB: Yes, and that is where a lot of people get confused. They think that if they step into being totally consciously aware, intentional living is what I call it, that they have to give up who they are. That is not the case at all. The truth is it’s about being who we really are, then enhancing that experience by allowing us to explore the possibilities that creation has to offer.

GS: We, people in general, tend to be confused and think that the noise in our heads is who we are. But we find that when the mind is silent, awareness does remain. For me, that is where you begin to touch the real part of yourself.

MB: That is so true. One of the things that I began to learn as the masters were taking me through all these lessons, is that when we are in our thinking minds, the one that goes in circles as we try to convince ourselves what a good job we are doing or how right we are, we are closing the doors to higher awareness. Our brainwaves change and the way we relate to everything changes.

GS: Well, you know in that well known story, when Peter jumped out of the boat and ran towards Jesus, he was fine until he started to think. When he started to think is when he started to sink.

[laughter]

MB: Exactly.

GS: As I looked through your site, one of the things that I personally liked the best was the inner peace page, some signs and symptoms of inner peace.

MB: My best friend wrote that. She got very sick, very quickly, and in her heart she knew that she was leaving the planet. That was her last gift to everyone and I wanted to honor her by putting that up there.

GS: People have to realize that healing sometimes doesn’t mean surviving.

MB: Sometimes that is the journey and how we touch everyone around. She was such a great example.

GS: I love these twelve points though, especially the warning down at the end. It says, “Warning, if you have all or even most of the above symptoms, please be advised that your condition of peace may be so advanced as to not be curable.” That is great stuff.

[laughter]

MB: I thought it was fantastic.

GS: So what is big for you now? I know you have a book out and a new one in the works.

MB: I have a book out now. It is called The Children of Now. It is about the crystalline kids, the star kids and some other kids that I have gotten to know through the healing practice that I have mentioned. What I have noticed over the years is that there are a lot of gifted kids coming into the world that are amazing, but they are really getting beaten down in the system, in society, in school, even at home with parents that are not aware of what’s going on. My intention is to not to categorize the kids, but I came up with some names for them just because it makes it easier to talk about them. My intention for The Children of Now is to create an awareness about the phenomenon that is going on and then further to get the kids what they need. So that is The Children of Now and the next book that I am almost finished with, I’m so excited, is called Conversations With the Children of Now. What I did was I took some of those same kids in The Children of Now and some new ones that I have gotten to know that people recommended to me and I interviewed them and asked them about life and love and God and death and past lives and 2012 and you name it, we talked about it. That is what Conversations With the Children of Now is and I’m really excited about this one because the things that the kids have said are just—you’ll laugh and cry and say, “How can this be so?”

GS: Talk about some of the standout things.

MB: When I asked them what humanity needed, it was all about getting to know ourselves. They didn’t say, we need to have this or we need to have that. What they said was we need to go inside because everything we fight is outside of ourselves and we don’t even know what we are fighting. Some of the other things they talk about is love, they defined love as a way of being and how it applies to our entire existence. Of course, their comments on who God is were priceless. “God is us and we are that and if only we choose to see past all of the illusion, we begin to see our divinity and actually begin to live that way.” Most of them are ten, eleven, twelve years old. It’s been an exciting adventure talking with them.

GS: I think as we move further through the paradigm shift that we are going through or the age change to put it in those terms, we’re pretty much morphing into another phase of human evolution.

MB: We really are. The truth is that people like us are bridges in this big leap of evolution and the children are the result of our efforts. They are coming in with their DNA working in a different format, their brains work differently and they’re only the beginning. As I work with them, I can see their energy fields evolving. That’s how fast it’s happening. There is another whole wave of kids coming in in the next ten years or so that are really going to blow our socks off.

GS: Even for those who don’t consider themselves involved in these kinds of things, just to keep up with popular culture, people are forced to process so much information that they’re being dragged, kicking and screaming into state of semi-enlightenment.

MB: It’s wonderful to watch, isn’t it?

GS: Just such things as seeing pictures of the planet from space are hugely consciousness expanding.

MB: I got an email a couple days ago about a new movie called The Shift that is coming out that was produced by Brad Pitt. George Clooney is in it and a whole bunch of other people and I’m really starting to see a lot of difference in how people are going about getting the message out.

GS: What a time to be alive, a toy store of a lifetime.

MB: I look at all of this information as kind of a mirror to what we are capable of. It is coming from the outside and it is overwhelming. The internet is like that and it is full of anything we have ever wanted to know. When we let our consciousness get into the collective, the universal mind so to speak, we can know anything if we just let ourselves relax and be who we are and use the tools that are available to us.

GS: Yes, the concept of intellectual property kind of tickles me, when no one can own ideas. They are accessible to anybody. Whoever gets it down on paper first gets to claim ownership of it, but come on. So what else is cutting edge for you right now?

MB: We just celebrated the one year anniversary for the Doctor Meg Show on the World Puja Network at worldpuja.org and that’s been a blast. It is a really good platform for getting a lot of different tools for life out and sharing other people’s experiences and opinions. That is something that has turned out to be just a phenomenal thing. I have a screen play that is in the works that is about what happens between our lives and that is very exciting. We are doing some clean up on the screen play and then we will be working on getting that out there publicly. It will be a couple years yet, but I am very excited about that one, too.

GS: What kind of things will you be going into in the in between life?

MB: Basically it is what happens as we leave our bodies and the different processes. It is an honest story about what happens and who meets us and what we do next. Sometimes we have a lot of processing to do and that takes different tools and skills and sometimes people have pretty much finished what they came for and they just move right on back to light. This is a story about more than just one person and it talks about souls and soul families and relationships and what is happening with people on Earth after we’ve transitioned and can we really talk to them or not. There is a lot involved and it is highly interwoven. We did our best to include as much as possible to give people the choice of seeing things differently.

GS: It sounds very interesting.

MB: The special effects are going to be phenomenal. How our guides and other aspects of our soul work with us and what we can do when we are not in our physical bodies, and what we could do if we could just remembered how. We have a lot of fun writing it.

GS: You will be in the Chicago area for the Lightworkers Midwest Conference. What will you be presenting?

MB: I am one of the keynote speakers and I will be talking about the Children of Now. I am going to be giving a talk about the kids, who they are, why they are here, what they are doing, and what we can do to help them. I’m very excited about that.

GS: What else would you like to let our readers know about?

MB: I have a newsletter that I put out every month. People can go to my website at www.spiritlite.com and sign up for that. It’s free; it’s a service that I do for the world. The first half of it is my take on what is going on, there are parables of life and some other things that I am observing and hearing from people. In the other half, I ask the masters to talk about what is going on and what we need to know and what is happening to us right now. It is a two-fold thing; it mixes the human and the divine and I’ve been doing that for six or seven years now. Of course, check out the website. My schedule is there and you can always tell where I am going to be.

GS: It sounds like you are having a good time.

MB: I am. It is a blast.

GS: One perfect moment after another.

MB: It is, isn’t it? Just keep breathing. Don’t get tense with life. We don’t have to take life so seriously. It is all magic.
