The Sequel to The Secret Premiers the Week of April 5th—It’s all about your Soul Path this time

Those of you who saw The Secret are probably also aware of the controversy about it. That controversy goes like this: Yes, The Secret is a good introduction to The Law of Attraction, but it is all about the material world and what I can get for me—and that can turn into a real ego trip. Where is soul-path, love, and giving to others in all this?

The answer to that question is in The Moses Code, a cooperative film effort between Spiritual Peace Troubadour James Twyman and Drew Heriot, who directed The Secret. The Moses Code began to take shape when spiritual leaders like Twyman and Debbie Ford first saw The Secret and threw up their hands in consternation. They know that The Law of Attraction when left in the sphere of the ego can wreck havoc on ourselves, on those around us, and on the world.

The Moses Code is based on Twyman’s book of the same name. I was one of the folks who got a sneak preview of the movie during late February at Transitions Bookplace in Chicago. It was a rare treat. Twyman had just come in from Los Angeles where he had shown his original version to a few movers and shakers including Drew Heriot. Their verdict: It’s good, but it needs work. Heriot, in particular, realized that this is the sequel to The Secret. He worked with Twyman for two solid weeks, reshooting and restaging the movie, giving it a polished look and feel that says “Sequel to The Secret.

In my opinion, The Moses Code is a must see for anyone—and especially those of us working with The Law of Attraction. A good way to get a preview of what is in store for you is to go to www.themosescode.com. The home page announces that the Moses Code is the most powerful manifestation tool in the history of the world. The Moses Code is a technique based on the words that God gave to Moses: I am that I am. The book goes into great detail, providing specific exercises that help you learn to use the code. The movie also gives some basic technique instruction. But the movie’s primary purpose is to show that in order to take The Law of Attraction to the next level, it is necessary to focus on GOD: Giving-Oneness-Destiny. In order to really learn the technique, you need to read the book.

For a great summary of the movie, click on the Press link and check out the press release. In that release, Twyman notes that in today’s fast-paced society, many of us are searching for a way to move beyond materialism in order to reach a deep level of fulfillment. He states, “Millions of people are entranced by the idea that they can attract new cars and a bigger bank account that they forget how important their role is for changing the world. In a way, it’s time to spiritualize the spiritual law of attraction. That’s the goal of this film.”

The film features a galaxy of spiritual teachers and bestselling authors who share their wisdom and insights about the true meaning of abundance. These speakers include Dr. Michael Beckwith (Founder and Director, Agape Spiritual Center), Cheryl Richardson (Stand Up for Your Life), Iyanla Vanzant (One Day My Heart Just Opened Up), Sonia Choquette (Your Heart’s Desire), Gregg Braden (The God Code), Neale Donald Walsch (Conversations with God), James Van Praagh (The Ghost Whisperer), Harville Hendricks (Clinical Pastoral Counselor), Mary Manin Morrissey (Teacher, Author, Counselor, Minister), Dr. Joe Dispenza (Neurological Doctor), Diana Cooper (Workshop Facilitator, Author), John Holland (Psychic Medium, Spiritual Teacher), Robert Ohotto (Intuitive Astrologer), Les Brown (Speaker, Entrepreneur, Best-selling Author), Anakha Coman (Sacred Heart Mystic, Inspired Speaker, Intuitive), Vivian Glyck (Author, and Founder and Executive Director, Just Like My Child Foundation), Mikki Willis (Filmmaker, Visionary), and Debbie Ford (Dark Side of the Light Chasers). PS: Check out the speakers section. There are links to each speaker’s website.

Debbie Ford, who is also a co-producer of the film, states, “Every day I wake up knowing I am a small piece and the embodiment of the greater whole and I look to see what I can do each day to give and to serve the community (even when I don’t want to). I strive to be a living breathing contribution and to always give more than I receive.”

The Premier—And A Peace Vigil

As I mentioned at the beginning of this column, The Moses Code will be released during the weekend of April 4th–6th. But don’t expect to see it at your local multiplex. Instead, the film is being released via the spiritual cinema underground. Check out the Event Locations link and see where it will play near you. As of March 10th, the date I’m writing this column, Chicago area locations include the DuPage Center of Religious Science in Elmhurst, Unity Northwest Church in Des Plaines, Lotus of the Moon Acupuncture in Arlington Heights, and TMI Global/Am. Inst. in Lombard. But more locations are signing up (Link: Host A Screening), so check back as it gets closer to the date.

And—there is more than the screenings going on that weekend. There is a world-wide Peace Vigil scheduled for Sunday, April 6th (10 a.m. to noon Central time). To find out more about how The Law of Attraction can be used to attain world peace, go to Twyman’s www.emissaryoflight.com website and click on the The Law of Attraction Conference Calls link. There you can click on recorded audio from a conference call series and listen to James Twyman, James Authur Ray, Neale Donald Walsch, Debbie Ford, Jean Houston, and Dr. Michael Beck discuss how you can use the Law of Attraction to create world peace.

My Advice

The Moses Code movie and book are definitely a pair. The movie will inspire you and the book will give you in-depth exercises that help you develop the technique. And what about The Moses Code technique? Granted it is one of many powerful techniques out there. But from personal experience I can vouch that it is powerful. I have folded it into my Course in Miracles workbook exercises, my Heart’s Desire work, and in everyday life as I try to connect in love and compassion with those I come into contact—and it’s working. So, I say: See the movie. Buy the book. And don’t forget to participate in the peace vigil.
